Baseball and Hockey Drafts

Well, today starts our busy baseball season with Carter. 12-2, 3pm and again at 6pm. Then Carter plays Monday, Tuesday and Thursday this week - good thing he likes baseball!

The draft has been updated finally, sorry it took so long Johnathan! Ella has a big lead, Nathan has a bunch of players playing each other this round, Johnathan's team is looking pretty sparce and Carter has a big come back to do ... go Pittsburgh?

Remember, the draft is here.

Flames are Toast!

Well my Flames are burnt toast. They had an awful second period tonight and lost to a more determined team. That loss really hurt Carter's playoff draft and Ella lost 3 players tonight. She got a big lead but perhaps Nathan can catch up still having all 10 of his players going into the next round. Johnathan lost over half of his players, will be tough for him to keep pace as well.

Now, who to cheer for???

Weather and Hockey Draft

Well, the weather certainly has kept one thinking of hockey. Spring snows and freezing rain are not a good sign, especially since Carter starts baseball this week!

In the hockey draft, Nathan fell from his #1 position as Ella caught him. The good news for Nathan is that all of his players advanced to the next round, the bad news is that he has no one left playing this round as the other kids are gaining on him.

Carter needs Calgary to come back and take their series. GO FLAMES GO!!
Johnathan lost his Ducks and Devils, really needs MTL to come through.
Ella is looking good... if MTL makes it through - uh oh will the habs come out to play?

Check the latest draft here. Remember to refresh if you see old data.

Snow Day!!

Well, we were supposed to get a late winter (yah right, it's springtime!) snowstorm Saturday night and Sunday. Well it started Friday night, it was blowing when we went to bed and the ground and vehicles are covered with a coupe inches of fresh wet snow!

And the Kids draft has been updated again. It's a close race between Nathan and Ella right now! Carter and Johnahtan's teams have some work to do!!

Updated Draft

Draft is updated, if you don't see April 17th make sure you refresh the page.

2008 Mcleod Miller Rookie Playoff Draft

Well, we are trying to get the kids into hockey drafts early! They held their first draft on the weekend with their cousins Johnathan and Ella Mcleod. The drafting was fast and furious.... actually it was quite slow and sometimes painful but I think most of them had fun. We may have drafted too many players as the interest waned in the later rounds.

Check here to see how they are doing!
