After not going to bed until after 11pm on Friday night Nathan was still up by 8:30 on Saturday a little on the grumpy side. He had a good breakfast with his G&G Miller and afterwards had lots of good 'I love yous' and hugs. He made sure to tell Shelley and I that he missed us when we were gone today. Carter had a hockey tournament in Aberdeen that started too darn early as Carter and I were out of the house by 6:40am - yes AM! Shelley came to the noon game while Nathan and Justin stayed with Grandma McLeod. Carter's team won the C final in the tournament with a rousing comeback. They were down three goals with 4 minutes to go in a straight time period and tied it up 5-5 with just under a minute left. They went to a shootout where they won 2-1, it was very exciting. Nathan was great when we got home. He was happy for Carter winning and was happy to have Mom and Dad back home. We had a pretty good evening and all three boys went to bed fairly well. Why their parents aren't in bed yet I'll never know. Tomorrow is a sleep-in day - hopefully the kids cooperate.
Nathan's mouth ulcers have started to come back. That's a little disappointing as his mouth was just returning to normal and he was eating any food he wanted. His appetite is still kind of hit and miss. He'll be hungry and want something specific to eat and then after two or three bites he is full. At least he is eating more frequently now. Hopefully tomorrow is another good day.
